What To Expect

El Limon
Considered the highest waterfall in the Dominican Republic, this spectacular cascade stands 140ft tall on the north coast of the Samana peninsula. It's a sight to be seen and of course, experienced! This excursion is a wonderful exploration of the area as getting to the waterfall requires going thru the dense tropical forest, crossing rivers, and access to a second bonus waterfall. The pre-selected route is about 10 minutes longer but approaches the waterfall from the front. Approaching this exquisite waterfall head-on will have you in awe as you come face to face with all of its beauty. After descending down a long narrow path to the skirt of the jump you can leap into the refreshing natural pool and enjoy a relaxing crystalline water bath walk to cascade is about 3km. Approximately 45 min walk. uphill. One you reach the top you have an hour to cool off and enjoy the beauty limon has to offer
