Overview

For the past thousands of years, Humpback Whales have been visiting the Dominican Republic for just TWO months out of each year. So, if you're here from January 20th - March 20th you lucked out!

This Tour Includes: Humpback WHALE Watching + Horseback Riding + Waterfall Excursion + Bacardi Island trip. (cayo levantado)

Take an air-conditioned bus for approximately 2-hours to the small town of Canetas, where you then climb aboard a boat to take you the rest of the way to the peninsula of which is about 40 minutes away. Then an open-air truck will be waiting for us in Samana to take us to El Limon waterfall.

From here we'll continue by horse approximately 30 minutes through a notoriously muddy path to the steep staircase that brings us to the base of the waterfall.

After having lunch, we will get on board of a catamaran boat to go whale watching. Our final destination will be at Bacardi Island, also known as Cayo levantado where we will stay on the island for about an hour and a half.
